3D-Printed Electrodes for Photosupercapacitors
The aim of my project is to produce 3D-printed electrodes and use them to build photo-supercapacitors. This project can be divided into two parts: firstly, the manufacturing process of supercapacitors from 3D-printed electrodes and secondly, the integration of these supercapacitors into a photo-supercapacitor.
My goal is to maximize the amount of energy that can be stored and to understand the relationships between material, processing and integration. At the beginning, the focus lies on the supercapacitor itself, as this forms the basis of a photo-supercapacitor. As soon as I succeed in producing reproducible supercapacitors, I will focus on integrating the electrodes with solar cells to produce photo-supercapacitors.
My work includes the synthesis of materials, the development of process parameters and the construction and integration from the electrode right through to the photo-supercapacitor. I use syntheses and analytical methods from classical inorganic chemistry as well as methods from the field of materials science and engineering.
