Current soft robots use bioinspired actuation and sensing but still depend on rigid microcontrollers for control in structured environments. This project proposes embedding control within the soft body itself, inspired by biological neural networks. It introduces "fluidic memories"—passive components triggered by pressure changes and nonlinear material behavior. The project aims to design and fabricate fluidic memories, build neurofluidic networks, and integrate them into adaptive soft robots.
