Projektbeschreibung
Innerhalb des interdisziplinären Projekts “Logic Self-Reporting Metamaterials” untersuche ich die Dissipation von Energie innerhalb von Fruchtschalen als Inspiration für adaptive Materialverbundsysteme. Um die Abläufe von Dissipation und Reifung in Fruchtschalen zu erforschen, untersuche ich die funktionelle Morphologie von Schalen mittels mechanischer Tests, mikroskopischer Verfahren und mikro-Computertomografie.
