Thomas Speck Elected as Excellent Member of the ISBE
International Society of Bionic Engineering acknowledges academic achievements of livMatS Spokesperson
The International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE) has granted Prof. Dr. Thomas Speck of the livMatS Spokesperson team the honorary title of an Excellent Member. The society presented the award on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. With the title, ISBE honors individual members who have contributed to the work of the organization and have made excellent academic achievements in the field of bionic engineering.
Members of the organization could nominate researchers for the award in advance. The ISBE Executive Board of Directors selected from the proposals 19 members of the society from 15 countries and awarded them the honorary title. With Speck, only one other researcher from Germany receives the award.
The ISBE is an educational, non-profit, non-political organization formed in 2010 to foster the exchange of information on bionic engineering research, development and application.
