Development of Adaptive and Dynamic Material Systems via Chemically Fueled Reaction Cycles Our research project aims to develop adaptive and dynamic material systems by using chemically fueled reaction cycles. We focus on the structural elements surrounding the chemical fuel and their pivotal role in dissipative self-assembly and phase separation processes. By understanding and manipulating these interactions, we want to develop innovative materials that can dynamically respond to environmental stimuli, offering potential applications in smart materials, medicine and beyond. Our interdisciplinary approach combines principles of chemistry, material science and life science to push the boundaries of material innovation.
