Thermoelectric Energy Harvesting with Responsive Metamaterial Surfaces – ThermoMetaS The aim of this project is to develop a 4D printable material system capable of harvesting thermal energy from its surroundings by altering its shape due to external temperature changes. This project combines the material science behind a multimaterial system with the microsystems engineering behind an adaptive system. The combination of these two systems will result in a multifunctional system that will harvest energy.
