ThermoMetaS – Thermoelectric Energy Harvesting with Responsive Metamaterial Surfaces
The ThermoMetaS project involves the development of a fully (or almost fully) 4D printable actuator device which may be used to harvest thermal energy from the environment and to react autonomously to external temperature changes. This interdisciplinary project involving microsystems engineering, chemistry, and materials science could have potential applications in other livMatS projects.
