High Energy Density Photobatteries
This project focuses on the development of lithium-sulfur batteries for use in photobatteries that integrate solar energy harvesting and storage in a single device. Sulfur, a sustainable, non-critical raw material, offers high energy densities and has a suitable potential window for the solar cell system. My work will include the development of a stable sulfur electrode with high energy density, as well as the investigation of different solvent systems and approaches to increase the longevity of both the positive and negative electrode.
