Project
Synthesis of endoperoxides for reversible storage of oxygen
Oxygen can be reversibly stored in organic molecules as endoperoxide. Depending on the molecule, the release of oxygen can be initiated by different triggers such as temperature, mechanical stress or pH. The aim is to synthesize and characterize different endoperoxides and to investigate possible applications, especially in pneumatic systems.
